CLUMSY

Starring: Kristine, Kim Jaejoong and Kim Heechul
Inspired By Lyrics From: "Clumsy" by Fergie

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You got me tripping, stumbling, flipping, fumbling
Clumsy cause I'm falling in love
You got me slipping, tumbling, sinking, fumbling
Clumsy cause I'm falling in love
So in love with you
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As the guy walked down the long hallway, it seemed to the other students that a celebrity had entered the building.
But it wasn't a celebrity. It was just Kim Jaejoong, the most popular guy in the whole school.
Boys were jealous of him, and the girls wished for a boyfriend just like him.
He smiled at the girls as he walked by them, knowing that was what they expected him to do.
But to tell the truth, he wasn't interested in any of them. They were all the same to him. They all desperately wanted his attention and he found it rather boring.
He decided that if a girl really wanted his attention, she would definitely have to be different.

He was too lost in his own thoughts to pay attention to his surroundings, and the girl walking out of her classroom wasn't paying attention either.
They collided and she dropped all her books and papers on the floor.
"Sorry." She mumbled, and hurriedly began to gather her things without even looking at him.
"It's okay." He handed her the last book and she finally looked up.
Their eyes met for a brief second and Jaejoongl started to smile. "Maybe we should run into each other again sometime."
She just stared at him, unable to respond.
"Kristine!" Her friends called out. "Hurry up!"
She quickly stood up and ran to them, without another glance at Jaejoong.
"Hey, are you okay?" One of his friends asked him.
"Who was that?" Jaejoong ignored his friend's question and asked one of his own.
"Her name is Kristine. She's a new student." Another one of his friends answered.
"Oh." Jaejoong said and walked away. He was still smiling.

Kristine was still recovering from her encounter with Jaejoong. She kept thinking about his gorgeous eyes and the way he had looked at her.
Without realizing it, she let out a sigh.
"Are you alright?" Her friend asked.
"Yes." She replied, almost bumping into someone else.
"Are you sure?" Her friend pulled her out of the way just in time. "You're acting more clumsy than usual."
"Yeah...." She answered.
She was obviously preoccupied, so her friends stopped asking questions and led her safely to their next class.

Even a few days later, Jaejoong couldn't stop thinking about her. He kept thinking as he walked down the school hallway.
Any other girl would have loved the opportunity to run into him at least once. But Kristine didn't even seem to care.
Jaejoong was starting to wonder. What if she didn't like him?
He was confused. He had never worried about that before.

A quiet voice interrupted his thoughts.
"I'm going to be late again." Kristine mumbled to herself as she hurried in the direction of her next class.
She was too distracted to notice that she was walking dangerously close to the stairway.
As she started to fall, strong arms wrapped around her and pulled her to safety.
Her rescuer held her tightly against him and she felt secure in his arms. She could hear the comforting sound of his heartbeat.
"Are you okay?" He spoke softly, and she recognized his voice. It was Jaejoong.
She realized that she couldn't speak so she nodded in response.
"Good." He wanted to keep holding her, but he reluctantly let her go.
"Thank you." She finally managed to speak.
"You're welcome anytime." He said with his famous grin. "Be more careful okay?"
She nodded again and then hurried away before he could hear her heart beating much faster than normal or see that a deep blush colored her cheeks.
Once he was out of sight, she leaned against the wall, trying to regain her senses.
"That guy.... why does he do that to me?" She wondered.
She didn't have time to think about it now. The bell rang. She was late for class.

After lunch that day, Kristine left the cafeteria with her friends. They were talking and laughing, but Kristine was still distracted. Her friends noticed.
"Are you thinking about him again?" One of them grinned and poked her arm teasingly.
"Who?" Kristine tried to act innocent.
Her friend laughed. "You know who I'm talking about."
While Kristine was trying to think of a reply, her friends exchanged a mischievous look.
"Jaejoong is looking at you." One of them whispered.
"What? He is?" Kristine's face turned bright red. "I mean... why would I care about that?"
"Too late." Her friends smiled. "You like him right?"
Kristine sighed. "Um... maybe..."
Someone walked over to them, and Kristine smiled, happy that her friends were no longer thinking about asking her questions. They were staring at the guy in front of them.
Her childhood friend, Heechul, gave her his charming smile.
"So, how was your exam this morning?" He asked her.
She ignored the jealous looks of her friends, and smiled back at him. "It was fine, I think. Thank you for helping me study."
"Anytime." Heechul said with a friendly wink.

Jaejoong was also leaving the cafeteria with his friends, when one of them noticed something.
"Jaejoong, do you like that new girl?" His friend asked with a bit of concern in his voice.
"Why are you asking me that?" Jaejoong asked curiously.
"Because she's talking to that guy over there." They answered.
"So?" Jaejoong tried to act like he didn't care.
"That guy is Heechul." His friend smirked and waited for his reaction.
Jaejoong's eyes widened when he saw that his friend was telling the truth.
"No way...." He muttered.
There was only one person that Jaejoong ever thought was good enough to give him competition for anything. In fact, he thought of him as his rival.
That person was Kim Heechul.
And now that guy was talking to HIS girl, and she was smiling and laughing.
Jaejoong frowned. He wished that she would smile at him like that.
He had never had this strong feeling of jealousy before. He didn't like it, so he started to think of an idea.

As Jaejoong walked by Kristine and her friends, he suddenly bent over and grabbed his stomach, acting like he was in pain.
Immediately Kristine rushed over to him. "What's wrong?" She looked concerned.
"My stomach..." He groaned.
"Your face looks red too." She said as she gently touched his forehead. "Do you have a fever?"
"I probably don't know." He mumbled.
"Do you want me to take you to the nurse?"
He nodded, and she let him put his arm around her as she helped him walk toward the nurse's office.
Jaejoong's friends looked confused, until he turned slightly and winked at them. Then they smiled knowingly.

Later, when Kristine went back to her class, her friends were waiting for her with curious expressions.
As soon as she sat down, they all started speaking at once.
"Is he okay?"
"What happened?"
"Did he ask you to be his girlfriend yet?"
She laughed a little. "Yes, I think he will be fine. The nurse said there was nothing wrong with him. No, he didn't ask me to be his girlfriend, but..." She started blushing.
"But what?" Her friends leaned forward excitedly.
"He did ask me to meet him after school today." Kristine smiled.
"Really?" Her friends squealed and giggled, earning them a warning glare from the teacher.
"I'll tell you more later." Kristine whispered.

After school, Kristine waited nervously at the meeting spot. Her friends were hidden nearby for moral support.
"What should I do?" Kristine was getting more nervous by the second.
"Just tell him your feelings." One friend suggested.
"Yeah. The worst thing he can do is reject you." Another one teased her.
"Thanks." She said sarcastically. "But what if I do something embarrassing again? I always act too clumsy around him."
"You'll be fine. He's coming now, so go!"
With that last bit of encouragement, she took a deep breath and slowly started to walk toward Jaejoong.
When he saw her coming, he swallowed nervously, told himself not to do anything stupid, and then began walking to meet her.

Neither one of them noticed that there was a large puddle on the ground from the rain earlier that day.
A loud splash seemed to echo down the almost empty street as someone clumsy slipped and fell, landing in the middle of the puddle.
Kristine blinked, surprised at the sight in front of her.
An embarrassed Jaejoong ran his hand through his hair and blushed as he looked up from the place he landed.
"I want to tell you something." He said.
"Okay." She waited patiently. She was still shocked that for once she wasn't the clumsy one.
He grinned cutely as he confessed. "I think I've fallen for you."
Kristine started to smile and reached out a hand to help him up.
Instead, he pulled her down into the puddle next to him.
"I feel the same way." She said quietly, right before Jaejoong's lips met hers in a sweet kiss.
