"Yunho." The girl whispered his name.

"Hm?" he replied. Looking down at her pretty face. In the moonlight, she was an angel.

"Promise me something Yunho," she said softly.

"Anything," He answered, his voice soft.

"Promise me, that we will get married in 2 months and travel the world." She said.

He was silent.

'I'm sorry, Suzy,' he thought. 'I can't keep this promise.'

"Yunho?"

He looked down, and saw that she was looking up at his face, with happiness in her eyes.

"Promise?" she said, holding out her pinky.

He felt guilty that he couldn't keep this promise, but he linked his pinky with hers. "I promise."

Suzy smiled and snuggled closer to him. Yunho smiled, feeling guilty inside.

***FLASHBACK***

"I'm sorry, Mr. Jung but I'm afraid your girlfriend has a heart disease that cannot be treated nor cured." Dr. Tankeitsy informed him. "She will only have 48 hours to live."

***END OF FLASHBACK***

'I'm sorry Suzy' he thought. He put his left arm around her shoulders, and smiled sadly.

The next day, Yunho sat in front of his computer, he was at work. He hadn't visited the hospital, where Yunho was staying, he was planning to go there after work. While he sat at his desk, countless questions ran through his mind. What was she doing? How was she feeling? Did she miss him? Was she thinking of him right now?

He couldn't concentrate on his work, his mind kept going back to Suzy.

She only had one more day to live, before she would leave leave him. But she didn't know. Yunho hadn't been able to decide how to tell her either way. She was going to be hurt.

Yunho tapped his fingers on his keyboard, one of his workers came up to his desk and handed him a pile of papers to type up, but how could he concentrate on work, when all he kept thinking about was Suzy?

Yunho felt angry, because the doctors couldn't find a cure for Suzy.

She was going to die.

Yet, she didn't know.

Yunho sat at his desk, thinking about how he was going to tell her.

She was at the hospital again, because Dr. Tankeitsy insisted that she went back for a checkup, because if something unexpected happened to her, they would be able to help her in time.

4 hours passed and it was nearly time to go home. Yunho looked at the clock, it was 5:00pm, he was going to visit Suzy at the hospital and tell her about her heart condition. She was going to be hurt when she heard it, but what else could they do? Nothing.

Finally it was time to go home, Yunho turned off his computer and ran out of the office. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him, Suzy had only 19 hours left. He would be the last one she would want to see before she went. Went to a better place called heaven.

Yunho reached the hospital and ran through the doors, he didn't bother to ask where Suzy's room was.

He didn't even stop to answer the nurses' questions when he ran past.

He barged into Suzy's hospital room. The room where she will sleep in, for the last time.

Suzy was sitting up on the hospital bed, she lifted her head up, her eyes met his, they were red. He knew she had been crying. Her expression was full of pain.

Yunho smiled and walked towards her. She forced herself to smile.

But Yunho knew she was forcing it.

Yunho sat down on a chair, next to the bed, he guessed that the doctor told her.

Yunho forced himself to look into Suzy's pained face, he reached out and held her hands in his.

"Yunho," Suzy began, her voice was just above a whisper, loud enough for Yunho to hear. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Tell you what Suzy?" Yunho asked, pretending he didn't know what she was talking about.

"My heart condition."

"I...I...I don’t know." he said, "maybe, it's because I didn't know how to tell you." he said, truthfully.

"You could have just come out with it. Either way, I would be heart broken." Suzy said, looking down at the white bed sheet.

'I know Suzy. I would be heart broken too," he thought. 'I already am.'

Yunho turned his head to look at the round clock that hung high on the wall, across from Suzy's bed.

It read 9:00.

Only 14 hours left.

Yunho bit his bottom lip. He turned his head back to Suzy, smiling in encouragement.

Suzy forced herself to smile back.

Minutes passed. Hours passed.

Suzy was getting weaker with each hour that passed, they both knew that Suzy was going to leave this planet any moment.

Suzy was frightened.

"Yunho, don't let me go, please," Suzy begged, clinging onto Yunho's T-shirt.

"Suzy, you know you'll be in a better place." Yunho reassured her. Patting her back.

"But, I want to be with you."Suzy was now sobbing into his shirt.

"Suzy, I'll be with you. In heaven." Yunho said.

Suzy finally let go of Yunho's shirt and sat straight on the bed. Her back leaning against the wall. Supporting her.

"You're right, Yunho." she said, still sobbing, "we'll be together in heaven," she reassured herself.

Yunho stayed silent.

It was nearly time for her to leave.

Suzy's eyelids began to close.

But, she forced them open every time they came close to fully closing them, not wanting to die, at such a young age of 20.

Tears started to fall from her nearly closed eyes'. She didn't want to leave her beloved Yunho behind, in this world. A world of pain. When she couldn't be there with him. Why was life so cruel to her?

Suzy finally closed her eyes, because she didn't have the strength to keep them open any longer.

Yunho knew that she was gone.

Yunho starred at her limp and lifeless body on the hospital bed before him.

Tears started to fall from his eyes.

Just then, Dr. Tankeitsy walked in with two nurses.

They saw Suzy's body lying on the bed. Yunho starred at her body, tears running down his cheeks.

Dr. Tankeitsy and the two nurses walked over to the bed and pulled the covers' over Suzy's lifeless body.

Yunho got up and walked out of the hospital, sadly, his beloved was gone. He had nothing left.

When Yunho got home, he saw a knife on the table in the lounge room table, he picked it up, he whispered, "This was our last night together, Suzy. But I will see you again."
